2022 has come to a close and we're doing our final Kotatsu Corner a little different than usual. First off, we're doing one at all (we promise they will be more regular in the coming year), but second off, we've adapted an old idea into a new format!
If you've followed us for a while, you may remember that we used to do blog posts cataloging and celebrating the things that resonated with us the most over the last year. We could have done that again, but heck, we're a podcast darnit! This time we're taking the same idea but doing it in podcast form. Tobias has stitched together submissions from six TIA contributors into one, long episode where we talk about the media that meant something to us this year.

Ho-ho-hold on to your butts, it's time for Anime Secret Santa 2022, an annual event hosted by the holiday hosts over at the AGC Podcast. Every year they organize an anime swap for folks in the anitwitter sphere with various outlets (podcasts, blogs, etc.) and a jolly good time is had by all.

Bill and Austin finally return to the monkey-faced thief for this first time in a while to review a fairly recent TV special, 2019's Lupin the Third: Goodbye Partner, but this time we're not going in alone.
We asked two special guests to join us, Drew and Emma of Sideburns & Cigarettes: A Lupin the Third Podcast. We share some reflections about the franchise over all, review the special, and reflect on the recent passing of the long-time voice of Daisuke Jigen, Kiyoshi Kobayashi.
