Since our previous Lupin the Third episodes (on The Mystery of Mamo and The Fuma Conspiracy) have done extremely well and everyone seems to like them, we decided we definitely needed to do another one before 2018 was over. So, we did! and we made it extra special by having on Daryl Surat! You may know Daryl from his long-running anime podcast, Anime World Order, or from his articles in Otaku USA and on Anime News Network. And if you've ever been scarred at convention panels by the names of "Anime's Craziest Deaths" or "Panel of DOOM", you can blame this guy.

In this episode, we talk about the second Lupin the Third theatrical film, the legendary directorial debut of Hayao Miyazaki before he founded Studio Ghibli, Lupin the Third: The Castle of Cagliostro.
During catchup we introduce Daryl, ask him what's been going on with AWO, Otaku USA, and how the First of the North Star game is going. Bill talks Red Dead II, Tobias talks SSSS. Gridman, and Austin talks Dark Souls Remastered (a game franchise that Daryl's 60ish year old father is incredibly good at).
We then talk about the movie, the Lupin franchise at large, it's tonal differences, the production staff of Cagliostro, Miyazaki's flair, "asbestos suits", Tobias' experience watching his FIRST LUPIN THING, and how amazing Discotek is.
